Key Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medicines accurately.
- Verify prescriptions for correctness and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Counsel customers on medication usage, dosage, side effects, and storage.
- Manage inventory, stock levels, expiry checks, and medicine replenishment.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, company policies, and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and controlled medicines.
- Coordinate with doctors, healthcare professionals, and store staff when required.
- Handle customer queries and provide exceptional service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area.
Eligibility
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (D.Pharm/B.Pharm).
- Valid State Pharmacy Council registration is mandatory.
- 1–3 years of experience in a retail pharmacy is preferred. Freshers with a valid license may also apply.
- Good knowledge of medicines, drug interactions, and pharmacy regulations.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy billing software.
