Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Fabricator to join our Manufacturing team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in metal fabrication, welding, assembly, and interpreting engineering drawings. The role involves manufacturing, assembling, and finishing fabricated components while ensuring quality, safety, and production standards are met. Candidates should be committed to delivering high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesFabrication & Assembly
· Perform fabrication of metal components as per engineering drawings and production requirements.
· Carry out structural fabrication, cutting, drilling, grinding, fitting, and finishing operations.
· Assemble fabricated components and sub-assemblies according to work instructions.
· Ensure proper alignment, dimensions, and fit-up before welding and final assembly.
Welding Operations
· Perform MIG, TIG, Arc, or CO₂ welding based on production requirements.
· Produce high-quality welds while maintaining dimensional accuracy.
· Inspect welded joints and rectify welding defects when required.
· Follow approved welding procedures and safety standards.
Production & Quality
· Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
· Ensure fabricated products meet quality specifications and customer requirements.
· Perform visual inspection of fabricated parts before forwarding to the next process.
· Maintain productivity targets while minimizing material wastage.
Machine & Tool Handling
· Operate fabrication equipment and hand tools safely.
· Maintain fabrication machines and report any breakdowns or abnormalities.
· Ensure proper usage and maintenance of measuring instruments.
Safety & Housekeeping
· Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area.
· Adhere to ISO standards, manufacturing procedures, and quality policies.
Educational Qualification
· ITI (Fitter, Welder, Fabricator, Turner, Machinist or related trade)OR
· Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
