Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Sales
- Greet walk-in customers promptly and assist them with product inquiries, price quotes, and order placements.
- Provide clear, accurate information regarding product features, specifications, applications, and availability.
- Recommend complementary items, upgraded alternatives, or promotional products to increase basket size.
- Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person with a professional, service-oriented attitude.
Operations & Order Processing
- Accurately enter and process sales orders, returns, and quotes using the Point of Sale (POS) and inventory management systems.
- Receive cash, credit, or account payments and balance transactions accurately at the end of each shift.
- Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure accurate item pulling, packing, and staged customer pickups.
- Process warranties, exchanges, and product returns according to company policies.
Showroom & Inventory Support
- Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked counter area and product display racks.
- Assist in receiving, unboxing, and organizing showroom stock and inventory count audits.
- Identify low-stock inventory items and notify purchasing or inventory management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in retail sales, counter sales, wholesale distribution, or customer service.
- Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with POS software, cash registers, basic computer operations, and product catalogs.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Problem Solving: Ability to handle difficult customer inquiries or technical product questions with tact and composure.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and routinely lift items weighing up to 40–50 lbs.
Preferred Skills (Bonus)
- Industry-specific product knowledge (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical, auto parts, building materials, or hardware).
- Multilingual capabilities depending on local market demographics.
- Experience in B2B or contractor sales environments.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
