- Job Description – Production Planning & Control (PPC) Executive
Job Purpose
To plan, coordinate, and control production activities to ensure timely delivery of customer orders through effective production scheduling, material planning, and optimum utilization of manufacturing resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer demand.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Quality, and Sales departments to ensure smooth execution of production schedules.
- Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to achieve delivery targets.
- Ensure timely availability of raw materials and maintain optimum Work-in-Progress (WIP) and inventory levels.
- Update and maintain production planning records, ERP transactions, and MIS reports accurately.
- Monitor production performance and recommend process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce lead time.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, safety requirements, and established production procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen.
Qualification
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience
- 3–4 years of relevant experience in Production Planning & Control (PPC) within a manufacturing industry.
