1. Service Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations of the EV service workshop.
- Ensure efficient scheduling and completion of vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and repairs.
- Maintain service quality standards as per manufacturer guidelines.
- Monitor turnaround time (TAT) for service jobs.
2. Team Management
- Lead and supervise service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
- Train service team on EV technology, battery systems, and safety protocols.
- Allocate work efficiently to technicians based on skills and workload.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and skill development sessions.
3. Customer Service & Satisfaction
- Ensure excellent customer experience during service visits.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or service-related issues.
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding service requirements, timelines, and costs.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction and retention rates.
4. EV Technical Oversight
- Monitor diagnostics and repair of EV systems including:
- Battery packs
- Electric motors
- Charging systems
- Vehicle software and electronics
- Ensure technicians follow proper safety procedures while handling high-voltage systems.
5. Spare Parts & Inventory Coordination
- Coordinate with the spare parts department to ensure availability of required parts.
- Monitor inventory levels and minimize service delays due to parts shortages.
- Ensure proper documentation of parts usage.
6. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly service performance reports.
- Track service KPIs such as job completion time, repeat repairs, and customer feedback.
- Ensure compliance with warranty procedures and service documentation.
7. Process & Quality Control
- Maintain workshop cleanliness, safety standards, and operational efficiency.
- Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for EV servicing.
- Monitor warranty claims and ensure proper documentation.
