Job Title: Purchase Executive

Job Summary
The Purchase Executive will be responsible for procuring construction materials, machinery, equipment, consumables, and services required for project execution. The role includes vendor management, cost negotiation, purchase order processing, and ensuring timely delivery of materials at project sites to avoid work delays.
Key Responsibilities
- Procure construction materials such as cement, steel, pipes, electrical items, hardware, safety items, machinery, and site consumables as per project requirements.
- Obtain quotations from vendors and conduct comparative analysis (rate comparison statements).
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Create and process Purchase Orders (POs) as per company policies.
- Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and stores for material requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials at project sites to prevent work disruptions.
- Track pending purchase orders and follow up with vendors.
- Verify material specifications, quantities, and quality requirements before procurement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new vendors.
- Maintain vendor records, purchase documentation, and procurement reports.
- Coordinate with accounts department for invoice verification and payment processing.
- Monitor market rates and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in procurement/purchase, preferably in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of construction materials and procurement processes.
- Experience in handling vendor negotiations and purchase documentation.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems and MS Excel.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
