Job Title: Sales Officer – FMCG (Cosmetics)

Reports To: Area Sales Manager / Regional Sales Manager
Job Purpose
To drive secondary and primary sales of cosmetic and personal care products within the assigned territory by managing distributors, expanding market reach, and achieving monthly and annual sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for assigned territory
- Appoint, manage, and motivate distributors and retailers
- Ensure effective coverage of retail outlets as per beat plan
- Drive secondary sales through distributor salesmen
- Increase brand visibility through in-store promotions, displays, and schemes
- Execute company sales schemes and promotional activities in the market
- Monitor stock availability, order placement, and collection
- Track competitor activities and market trends
- Maintain strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and salons (if applicable)
- Submit daily sales reports (DSR), market feedback, and MIS to management
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong sales & negotiation skills
- Knowledge of FMCG / cosmetic distribution channels
- Ability to work in field sales and handle pressure
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Market intelligence & analytical ability
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, reporting apps)
Educational Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA in Marketing preferred)
Experience
- 1–4 years of field sales experience in FMCG / Cosmetics / Personal Care
- Experience in distributor handling and GT (General Trade) preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
