Dispatch and Logistics Coordinator role ensures seamless supply chain operations by managing dispatch processes, coordinating with delivery partners, and overseeing return logistics using computer and ERP systems. [1, 2, 3]Key Responsibilities:
- Dispatch Management: Coordinate the daily dispatch of new couriers, ensuring packages are securely packed, accurately labeled, and handed over to delivery partners on time.
- Delivery Partner Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) partners to track forward shipments and resolve in-transit delays.
- Return & RTO Management: Handle all courier returns and Return to Origin (RTO) shipments. Verify returned stock, reconcile discrepancies, and ensure damaged or incorrect orders are routed appropriately.
- Computer & System Operations: Maintain real-time logs of all dispatched and returned goods using company software, ERPs, and Microsoft Excel. Update shipment statuses, generate delivery reports, and process shipping labels.
- Escalation & Exception Handling: Address customer and partner queries regarding missed, delayed, or lost shipments. Investigate the root cause and provide actionable solutions.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Computer Proficiency: Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel (or Google Sheets), email systems, and inventory tracking software.
- Organization Skills: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage documentation like waybills, invoices, and Delivery Challans.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating smoothly with internal teams and external delivery partners.
