About the Centre
The KSCA – Ramaiah Sports Rehabilitation Centre is a sports medicine and musculoskeletal rehabilitation facility dedicated to delivering evidence informed, patient centred care.
Our services include sports physiotherapy, injury management, return-to-sport, functional screening and rehabilitation and injury prevention programmes for recreational, amateur and professional athletes.
In addition, the centre provides comprehensive musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy and rehabilitation for adults across all age groups, managing acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, post operative rehabilitation and movement disorders.
Key Responsibilities
* Assess, diagnose and manage musculoskeletal and sports related conditions.
* Develop and deliver individualized rehabilitation programmes for athletes and MSK patients.
* Conduct functional assessments, injury screening and return-to-sport evaluations.
* Assist with pre-season screening and injury prevention programmes.
* Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
* Participate in sports event coverage, athlete education and community outreach programmes as required.
* Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and uphold clinical standards of the centre.
Eligibility
* Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) with certification or training in sports.
* Registered with the State Physiotherapy Council
* Experience working with athletes or sports teams
Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy with 0-2 years of experience can also apply.
Desirable:
* Sports Physiotherapy certification
* Training in sports taping, dry needling or other sports rehabilitation techniques
* BLS Certification
