Position :Senior Quality Manager
Experience :8 – 10 YearsCompensation:₹70,000 – ₹80,000 / month (Gross)

1. Position Overview
The Senior Quality Manager will lead the overall Quality Management System (QMS) across plant operations. This position is critical for upholding quality standards across in-house component manufacturing (winding, shaft machining, guard fabrication), setting stringent IQC criteria for out-sourced plastic injection molded components, ensuring regulatory compliance (BIS IS 374 / IS 2312, BEE Star Rating), and delivering defect-free finished fans to OEM partners.
2. Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Establish, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality control systems from raw material receiving to final dispatch.
- Set strict Incoming Quality Control (IQC) protocols and inspection guidelines for vendor-supplied plastic molded parts, switch housings, and hardware.
- Ensure statutory and regulatory product compliance, specifically BIS standards (IS 374 for ceiling/table fans, IS 2312 for industrial/wall fans) and BEE energy labeling standards.
- Lead root-cause analysis (8D, 5-Why, CAPA) for customer complaints, internal rejections, and line defects to prevent recurrence.
- Oversee electrical and mechanical lab testing including Hi-Pot testing, air delivery (CMM) testing, power consumption/wattage checks, and temperature rise tests.
- Drive Quality Engineering teams to reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and improve line yield metrics.
3. Qualifications & Technical Requirements
- B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- 8 to 10 years of robust QA/QC leadership experience in electric fans, home appliances, or electrical motor manufacturing.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian Standards (BIS/IS fan specs), ISO 9001 QMS, and regulatory certification processes.
- Expertise in statistical process control (SPC), GD&T, electrical testing methods, and root-cause analysis methodologies.
Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
