Job Title: Credit Processing Officer (CPO) Trainer

Job Summary
The Credit Processing Officer (CPO) trainer is responsible for designing and delivering high-quality training programs for new and existing Credit Processing Officers. The trainer will ensure learners develop the technical knowledge, operational skills, compliance awareness, and customer service competencies required to perform efficiently in credit processing roles. The role also includes evaluating trainee performance, providing coaching, and supporting continuous learning initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom, virtual, and on-the-job training programs for Credit Processing Officers.
- Facilitate induction, product, process, compliance, and refresher training sessions.
- Develop and update training content, presentations, assessments, SOPs, and job aids.
- Evaluate trainee performance through assessments, observations, and feedback.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to trainees and support their transition to live operations.
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies, banking regulations, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with operations and business stakeholders to identify training needs and bridge skill gaps.
- Maintain training records, attendance, assessment reports, and certification documentation.
- Monitor post-training performance and recommend interventions for continuous improvement.
- Support training audits and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Commerce, Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Credit Processing, Loan Operations, Banking Operations, NBFC, BFSI, or Financial Services.
- At least 2 years of experience in delivering training (new hire training, process training, on-the-job training, classroom facilitation, coaching, and mentoring) and/or designing instructional materials for young adults between the ages of 18 and 29 years.
- Strong understanding of credit processing workflows, documentation, loan products, compliance, and operational procedures.
- Functional English oral and written communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
