Job Description
The QA Engineer in the EPS Modernization Project is responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of the EPS platform through comprehensive test planning, test execution, and defect management. The role includes developing test strategies, test cases, and automated test scripts based on business and technical requirements, validating end-to-end payment transaction flows, and ensuring seamless integration between POS systems, payment processors, edge devices, and backend services.
The QA Engineer leads System Integration Testing (SIT), supports User Acceptance Testing (UAT), manages defect tracking and resolution, and verifies functional, integration, regression, performance, and security requirements. Additionally, the QA Engineer collaborates closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Integration Engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure releases meet quality standards, supports production readiness activities, and contributes to continuous improvement of testing processes throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Functional & Domain Knowledge
- Strong functional and domain knowledge of retail fuel operations, payment processing systems, Point-of-Sale (POS) workflows, forecourt and edge systems, and the complete payment transaction lifecycle.

Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts based on business and technical requirements.
- Execute functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Validate end-to-end payment transaction flows across POS systems, payment processors, edge devices, and backend services.
- Lead System Integration Testing (SIT).
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Perform API and integration testing for distributed systems and microservices.
- Develop and maintain automated regression test suites.
- Manage defects throughout the defect lifecycle and support resolution and verification.
- Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting of application and integration issues.
- Validate payment transactions including authorization, settlement, refunds, reversals, chargebacks, and exception scenarios.
- Support release validation and production readiness activities.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Integration Engineers, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, automation frameworks, and testing practices.
Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
