- Quality Control System Implementation:
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and processes to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Establish inspection criteria, sampling plans, and testing procedures for incoming raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
- Inspection and Testing:
- Perform regular inspections and tests on heaters at various stages of the manufacturing process to identify defects, deviations, and non-conformances.
- Utilize a variety of testing equipment and techniques to measure critical parameters such as temperature, pressure, efficiency, and safety features.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on quality performance metrics, including defect rates, rework levels, and customer complaints, and present findings to management.
- Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA):
- Lead investigations into quality issues, customer complaints, and non-conformances to determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address systemic quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supplier Quality Management:
- Work closely with suppliers to establish quality requirements, evaluate supplier performance, and ensure the timely resolution of quality issues related to purchased components and materials.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay informed about industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to heater manufacturing and ensure compliance with relevant requirements, such as safety certifications and environmental regulations.
- Training and Quality Awareness:
- Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures, standards, and best practices to promote a culture of quality awareness and accountability.
- New Product Development Support:
- Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to ensure that new heater designs meet quality requirements and are manufacturable with consistent quality.
