Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of mechanical products and assemblies.
- Create and modify 3D models, enclosures, sheet metal parts, and technical drawings using Fusion 360, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD.
- Support the development of sheet metal, plastic, and fabricated components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical and electronic components into product designs.
- Prepare engineering drawings, Bill of Materials (BOM), and manufacturing documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors for prototyping, fabrication, and production activities.
- Participate in design reviews, testing, and product improvement initiatives.
- Ensure designs meet functional, manufacturing, and quality requirements.
- Contribute to design optimization, cost reduction, and manufacturability improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are welcome to apply.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Fusion 360, SolidWorks, and/or AutoCAD.
- Understanding of 3D modeling, assemblies, and engineering drawings.
- Basic knowledge of sheet metal design and fabrication processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a product development environment.
Preferred Skills
- Internship or project experience in mechanical design or product development.
- Familiarity with plastic part design, prototyping, 3D printing, or fabrication processes.
- Knowledge of manufacturing methods and vendor coordination.
- Understanding of BOM preparation and technical documentation.
