ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan for and oversee the manufacturing of a project until its dispatch within a set timeline.
Estimate and indent materials for projects.
Estimate job-wise manpower for projects.
Ensure optimal use of man, material, and machine.
Develop cutting plans for processing raw materials.
Generate daily work assignments with expected results that are defined and monitored.
Supervise individual operations on the shop floor, such as shearing, welding, forming, testing, and painting.
Control issued materials by marking individual parts, sub-assemblies, and the final product.
Visit customer installations to solve issues or install products when required.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
REQUIRED SKILLS (explicitly call out must-have and nice-to-have skills expectations)
Must-Have Skills:
Knowledge of reading engineering drawings.
Fundamental knowledge of manufacturing technology.
Manpower planning and handling.
Material planning.
Production supervision.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience in fabrication using plates and sheets is advantageous.
Specific NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) or welding certifications are a bonus.
Any exposure to bellows or pressure vessels is desirable.
Knowledge of sheet metal and pressure part manufacturing.
Ability to perform hand calculations (empirical) involving principles of Mechanical Engineering.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
