Job Description
General Summary of role: We are seeking an experienced Senior Delivery Manager/Lead to drive successful project delivery, ensure high-quality execution, and manage customer relationships. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach who can lead multiple projects, oversee delivery teams, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure on-time, within-budget, and high-quality delivery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Project & Delivery Management:

Oversee end-to-end project delivery across multiple engagements, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company goals.

Define and implement best practices, governance models, and quality frameworks to improve efficiency and scalability.

Monitor project risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks, proactively mitigating issues.

Ensure delivery teams adhere to agile, scrum, or other project management methodologies.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.

Translate business needs into actionable delivery plans and work closely with pre-sales, account management, and technology teams.

Manage client expectations, scope changes, and escalation handling to ensure smooth delivery.
People & Team Leadership:

Mentor, guide, and develop delivery teams, ensuring high performance and alignment with company objectives.

Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and innovation within the team.

Support the hiring, onboarding, and capability-building of delivery resources.
Process Improvement & Commercials:

Drive continuous process improvement, automation, and efficiency initiatives.

Track delivery KPIs, financials, and resource utilization to ensure profitability.

Work with leadership to develop strategic initiatives that improve delivery execution
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:

Strong background in agile, waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects, clients, and cross-functional teams.

Strong technical understanding of software development, cloud, DevOps, and emerging tech.

Experience in handling customer engagement, pre-sales support, and solutioning.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Experience in budgeting, cost management, and commercial aspects of delivery.
Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:

10+ years of experience in IT services, project management, or software delivery.
Good to have Skills:

PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, SAFe, or equivalent certification is a plus.
