We are looking for an experienced Boiler Operator with a valid 2nd Class Boiler Attendant Certificate to safely operate and monitor boiler and utility systems in our dairy manufacturing plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor boiler and steam generation systems
- Maintain required steam pressure, temperature, and water levels
- Operate boiler feed pumps and water treatment systems
- Monitor fuel consumption and boiler efficiency
- Maintain daily boiler log sheets, checklists, and statutory records
- Conduct routine inspections and report abnormalities
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, and Utilities teams
- Ensure compliance with boiler safety regulations and plant safety standards
- Maintain proper housekeeping and safety in the boiler area
Qualification
- Valid 2nd Class Boiler Attendant Certificate – Mandatory
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferred
Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of Boiler Operator experience
- Experience in wood-fired and coal-fired boilers – Mandatory
- Dairy / FMCG / Food Processing experience preferred
