Job Summary
MK Group is seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager – Finance, Operations & Contracts to oversee Financial Contracts, Operational Management and Drafting of contracts. The ideal candidate will have an MBA in Finance & Operations with strong exposure to corporate law and contract management, and approximately 15 years of professional experience in finance and operational leadership roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, service contracts, NDAs, and other business agreements.
- Provide corporate legal and commercial advisory to business units, project teams, and senior management on contractual matters, risk exposure, compliance requirements, and regulatory obligations.
- Ensure that all contracts, agreements, and legal documents are aligned with company policies, statutory requirements (including contract law and corporate law), and corporate governance standards.
- Coordinate with relevant government authorities and regulatory bodies for statutory compliance, registrations, approvals, and resolution of legal or contractual matters.
- Conduct contract risk analysis and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies to safeguard the organization’s financial and legal interests.
- Maintain and manage the company’s contract database, ensuring accurate tracking of agreements, amendments, renewals, obligations, and key milestone dates.
- Support the finance and accounts teams in interpreting and managing payment terms, retention clauses, penalty provisions, indemnities, and insurance requirements in contracts.
- Develop and draft internal policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and standard contract templates to streamline approvals and ensure compliance.
- Represent the company in internal management discussions and coordinate with external stakeholders including vendors, consultants, legal advisors, and regulatory authorities.
Qualifications & Experience
· MBA in Finance and Operations from a recognized university.
· Additional knowledge or experience in Corporate Law / Contract Management required.
· 15+ years of relevant experience in finance, operations, and contract management roles.
· Experience working with corporate compliance, financial management, and legal documentation.
Desirable:
- Experience with construction contracts, vendor/supply agreements, and SLAs.
- Knowledge of Indian Contract Act, and corporate compliance.
- Understanding of project financing, cash-flow planning, and financial reporting
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and drafting skills for contracts, policies, and legal opinions.
- Solid financial acumen to interpret project-level financials.
- Excellent English and Hindi (written/spoken); proficient in senior-level English communication.
- MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email, and documentation tools.
- Thrives in structured, compliance-driven environments with tight deadlines.
- High confidentiality, integrity, and attention to detail.
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
