As we scale our businesses and teams, we are looking for an experienced and hands-on HR Manager who can build strong people systems, culture, and processes from the ground up.
Role Overview
We are looking for an HR Manager who can build, manage, and scale the entire HR function of a growing organization.
This is not a conventional HR administration role. The ideal candidate should be capable of taking ownership of HR operations end-to-end—from manpower planning and talent acquisition to payroll, performance management, policies, employee engagement, compliance, and organizational development.
You will work closely with the management team to build a high-performance organization with the right people, processes, culture, and systems in place.
Key Responsibilities1. HR Strategy & Organizational Development
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with Aspireon Ventures' business goals.
- Build HR systems and processes suitable for a growing multi-vertical organization.
- Develop organizational structures, reporting frameworks, job roles, and HR workflows.
- Work closely with management on manpower planning and workforce requirements.
- Support the organization in building a strong and performance-driven culture.
2. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Own the complete recruitment lifecycle from identifying manpower requirements to onboarding.
- Develop effective recruitment strategies for creative, academic, corporate, sales, media, and operational roles.
- Create and optimize Job Descriptions and hiring processes.
- Source candidates through Indeed, LinkedIn, recruitment platforms, referrals, and other channels.
- Conduct initial screening and coordinate interviews with department heads and management.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future requirements.
- Reduce hiring turnaround time while maintaining quality of recruitment.
3. Payroll & Compensation
- Manage monthly payroll processes and ensure accurate and timely salary processing.
- Maintain employee salary structures, incentives, deductions, attendance, leave, and payroll records.
- Coordinate with accounts/finance teams for payroll-related activities.
- Assist management in developing compensation structures and employee benefits.
4. HR Policies & Compliance
- Develop, implement, and maintain company HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper documentation of employment-related processes.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Establish proper processes for attendance, leave, probation, confirmation, resignation, and full & final settlement.
5. Performance Management
- Design and implement employee performance evaluation systems.
- Establish KRAs/KPIs in coordination with department heads.
- Manage probation, confirmation, performance reviews, promotions, and increments.
- Identify performance gaps and coordinate improvement plans.
- Help build a culture of accountability and measurable performance.
6. Employee Engagement & Culture
- Build a positive, professional, and collaborative workplace culture.
- Develop employee engagement initiatives and internal communication systems.
- Address employee concerns and grievances professionally.
- Improve employee retention and overall employee experience.
- Act as a trusted bridge between management and employees.
7. Learning & Development
- Identify training and development requirements across departments.
- Coordinate internal and external training programs.
- Develop employee development plans based on organizational requirements.
- Support leadership in building future-ready teams.
8. HR Operations & Administration
- Manage onboarding and employee induction processes.
- Maintain accurate employee databases and HR documentation.
- Monitor attendance, leave, working hours, and employee records.
- Manage employee lifecycle processes from joining to exit.
- Prepare regular HR reports and workforce analytics for management.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in HR, preferably in a growing company, startup, education, media, creative, or multi-business environment.
- Strong experience in end-to-end HR management.
- Proven ability to independently build HR systems and processes.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment, payroll, performance management, employee relations, and HR policies.
- Good understanding of applicable labour laws and statutory compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work closely with founders/management and department heads.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in HRMS, MS Office/Google Workspace, and recruitment platforms.
