PGT Physics and Chemistry - CBSE 11-12, NCERT Syllabus
Core responsibilities
- Teach NCERT curriculum: Physics - Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Waves, Optics, Electromagnetism, Modern Physics. Chemistry - Mole concept, Atomic structure, Chemical bonding, Organic reactions, Electrochemistry, Coordination compounds
- Board and competitive focus: Align teaching with CBSE boards and prep for NEET and JEE. Solve NCERT and exemplar and previous year questions in class
- Lab work: 1-2 practicals per week per subject. Vernier calipers, optics bench, titration, salt analysis, organic tests. Maintain lab register and safety
- Assessment: Unit tests, term exams, practical files, project work as per CBSE guidelines. Remedial classes for weak students
- Admin: Lesson plans, marking scheme adherence, CCE records, parent meetings
Requirements
- Qualification: M.Sc Physics or Chemistry and http://B.Ed. NET or SET preferred for 12th grade
- Experience: 3+ years teaching 11-12 CBSE. NEET and JEE coaching experience is a plus
- Skills: Break down NCERT derivations, run labs safely, handle 40+ student class, mentor for Olympiads
