We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to drive the organization to be successful in exploring and evaluating new and emerging software tools and technologies. You will be asked to implement and provide guidance across Openstack, AWS, Maven, Chef, data compute, storage, network, visualization and containerization and security and help transform the organization to take advantage of DevOps best practices methodologies.
Roles and Responsibilities:-
- Design, enable and deliver scalable and automated strategy- Infrastructure as a code.
- Developing and implementing software features using Agile Methodology.
- Enabling DevOps solutions development and deployment paradigms.
- Creating user accounts and assigning user permissions.
- Creating backup and retrieval policies and assigning bulk storage.
- Maintaining rebooting and part replacement activities.
- Coordinating and using the following technologies:
- Circle CI as Continuous Integration Platform.
- Git Hub and Git Lab for source code management.
- Maven and Ant as build tool.
- Ruby, Linux, Bash and shell scripting.
- Handling the basic AWS cloud work.
- Enable DevOps mindset into the organization by working collaboratively with Development and Operations team members.
- Maintain general platform health and system integrity.
- Strong understanding of Big Data technologies and high availability.
- Propose and implement best in class solution for big and complex systems.
- Provide remote support for field engineers.
- Resolving server operations problems Installation of OS upgrades, updates and patches as and when provided.
- Updating system upon release of new Oss or software.
- Coordinating with other team members to plan capacity and scaling needs.
- Run and maintain different product environments (Development, Stage, Production).
- Attend ongoing training events sponsored by company or machine manufacturers to stay up to date on the latest technologies and repair options.
Requirements:-
- DevOps engineer with 2-3yrs of experience in development and production operations.
- Ability to take ownership on the carried-out work.
- Work in a dynamic environment and ability to adapt quickly with changes.
- Good to have experience in data science and its frameworks like Hadoop, Apache, SAS, BigML, MATLAB, D3.js,ectc.
- Knowledge on Big Data and Hadoop Admin activities (Hive, Hbase configurations).
- Need to perform Jenkins deployments on Hadoop.
- Need to have KAFKA/AZURE knowledge.
- Have relevant skills and interest.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Qualification- IT related/or equivalent.
- Official notice period 30days(preferred).
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
