Job Summary
We are looking for a Sales Executive to support field sales and customer acquisition activities in the building materials segment. The role involves visiting client locations, identifying potential customers, and generating business opportunities through direct interaction.
Key Responsibilities
Field Sales & Client Acquisition
- Visit project locations and client sites to identify potential customers
- Build relationships with contractors, site supervisors, and project teams
- Generate new enquiries through field interactions
Sales Coordination
- Understand customer requirements and suggest suitable products/services
- Follow up on enquiries and support order finalization
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth execution
Market Insights
- Observe local market trends and share updates with the team
- Track general competitor activities in the field
Reporting
- Maintain records of daily visits, enquiries, and follow-ups
- Submit regular activity reports
Requirements
- 1–5 years of experience in field sales or direct sales
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel locally for client meetings
- Basic understanding of construction or building materials is an advantage
Preferred
- Candidates familiar with the local area (Madurai and nearby regions)
- Immediate joiners preferred
