Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Site Surveyor to perform site surveying, layout marking, and level verification for construction activities. The ideal candidate should be proficient in using Total Station, Auto Level, GPS, and other surveying instruments to ensure accurate execution of works as per approved drawings and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out site surveys, layout marking, and setting out as per approved drawings.
- Establish and maintain control points, benchmarks, and reference lines.
- Verify coordinates, levels, alignments, and dimensions before construction activities.
- Operate and maintain Total Station, Auto Level, DGPS/GPS, and Digital Level instruments.
- Conduct topographical, contour, and as-built surveys.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, QA/QC Engineers, and Consultants.
- Interpret construction drawings, survey plans, and AutoCAD layouts.
- Prepare field notes, survey reports, and measurement records.
- Monitor excavation, foundation, column, slab, road, drainage, and utility works for dimensional accuracy.
- Ensure survey work complies with project specifications and quality standards.
- Report discrepancies in drawings or site conditions to the Project Engineer.
- Follow all site safety procedures and company policies.
- Support quantity verification and progress measurements whenever required.
Qualifications
- Diploma/ITI in Surveying or Civil Engineering.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is an added advantage.
Experience
- 2–8 years of experience in construction site surveying.
- Experience in commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or high-rise building projects is preferred.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Total Station, Auto Level, GPS/DGPS, and Digital Level.
- Good knowledge of surveying principles, leveling, traversing, and coordinate systems.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering and structural drawings.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD; Civil 3D is an added advantage.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced construction environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with industrial projects, factories, or infrastructure works.
- Familiarity with survey software and data processing tools.
- Knowledge of quality standards and construction safety practices.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
