We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic HR Generalist who is passionate about human resources and eager to build a career in HR operations, recruitment, employee engagement, and organizational development.
Role Overview
The HR Generalist will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day HR functions, including recruitment, employee onboarding, HR operations, attendance management, employee engagement, documentation, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Source candidates through job portals, social media, employee referrals, and other recruitment channels.
- Screen resumes and shortlist suitable candidates.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and candidates.
- Schedule interviews and maintain interview trackers.
- Follow up with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Employee Onboarding & Offboarding
- Coordinate joining formalities and employee induction.
- Prepare offer letters, appointment letters, and other HR documents.
- Manage employee exit formalities, including clearance and experience letters.
HR Operations
- Maintain employee records and personnel files.
- Manage attendance, leave records, and timesheets through HRMS.
- Update employee information in HR systems.
- Support payroll input preparation and HR documentation.
Employee Engagement
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events.
- Coordinate training programs and learning initiatives.
- Support performance appraisal and employee feedback processes.
HR Compliance
- Ensure adherence to company HR policies and procedures.
- Assist in maintaining statutory records and compliance documentation.
- Support HR audits and documentation requirements.
Administrative Support
- Coordinate with internal departments on HR-related activities.
- Prepare HR reports and maintain recruitment and employee MIS.
- Handle general employee queries professionally and promptly.

Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of MS Excel (basic formulas, filtering, reporting).
- Experience with Zoho People or any HRMS will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with job portals such as Naukri, Indeed, and LinkedIn is preferred.
Educational Qualifications
- Any Bachelor's Degree or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Commerce, Psychology, or any related discipline.
- MBA (HR) or HR certifications will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Freshers with strong communication and coordination skills are encouraged to apply.
