About the Role
i’Deli Cafe is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee the finance and accounting operations across our restaurant outlets. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of restaurant accounting, statutory compliance, inventory costing, and financial reporting while ensuring accurate and timely financial management. Restaurant and multi-outlet hospitality experience is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations for all i’Deli Cafe outlets.
- Maintain General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Bank Reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Finalize books of accounts and coordinate with auditors and Chartered Accountants.
- Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliances.
- Reconcile daily POS sales with cash, card, UPI, and online delivery platforms.
- Monitor outlet-wise sales, expenses, food cost, labour cost, and profitability.
- Oversee inventory accounting and coordinate with purchase and operations teams to control food costs and wastage.
- Process vendor payments and maintain vendor reconciliations.
- Prepare MIS reports, cash flow statements, budgets, and financial forecasts for management.
- Monitor internal financial controls and recommend process improvements.
- Support payroll processing and employee reimbursement management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
- CA Inter / CMA Inter / preferred.
- 5–8 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in the restaurant, hospitality, or retail industry.
- Experience in multi-outlet accounting is an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF & ESI compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software/ERP systems.
- Experience with POS systems and online food delivery platform reconciliations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Good communication and leadership abilities.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
