About the role
You'll be the operational backbone at our Naraina office — running vendor development, keeping our Google Sheets trackers current, and going out into the market for sample sourcing and proofing. You'll work alongside our production team (prepress and printing) but this is a distinct role focused on vendors, data, and field coordination, not production itself.'
Key Responsibilities
Vendor Development & Management
- Identify and onboard new vendors for print, packaging, gifting, and allied materials
- Collect and compare quotations; negotiate basic terms
- Maintain and grow a vendor database (contacts, rates, turnaround times, specializations)
- Follow up on existing vendor orders, timelines, and deliveries
Data & MIS
- Maintain daily Google Sheets trackers for orders, vendor status, and job progress
- Keep vendor records, quotations, and documentation updated and organized
- Flag delays or gaps to the founder proactively — don't wait to be asked
Field & Market Work
- Visit Naraina/local markets for sourcing gifting samples, proofing, and material checks
- Visit vendor locations to inspect quality, collect samples, or resolve issues
- Occasional client-side visits as required
Requirements
- Graduate, any discipline
- 1-3 years in back-office ops, vendor coordination, or procurement support
- Comfortable with Google Sheets (formulas, basic tracking — not just data entry)
- Own bike, valid license, comfortable with daily local travel
- Good follow-up discipline — this role lives and dies on not letting things slip
Compensation
- ₹25,000-30,000/month (based on experience) + conveyance/fuel allowance
- Full-time, on-site, Naraina Industrial Area
Success looks like (first 90 days)
- Vendor database with 20+ active, rated vendors
- Zero missed follow-ups on active quotations (tracked in sheet)
- Daily tracker updated by EOD without reminders
Salary: ₹25,000 - ₹30,000 per month, based on experience and skills.
