Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Relations (IR) professional to lead Industrial Relations, Labour Law Compliance, Employee Relations, Statutory Compliance, and Plant Administration. The incumbent will play a critical role in maintaining harmonious employee relations, ensuring legal compliance, managing plant administration, and coordinating with unions, contractors, and government authorities.
Key ResponsibilitiesIndustrial Relations & Employee Relations
- Manage industrial relations and maintain a harmonious work environment.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution.
- Build strong relationships with workers, unions, and employee representatives.
- Prevent industrial disputes, strikes, lockouts, and work stoppages.
- Lead collective bargaining and wage settlement discussions.
Labour Law & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable Labour Laws, Factory Act, Industrial Relations Code, CLRA Act, Standing Orders, Minimum Wages Act, Payment of Wages Act, ESI, EPF, Bonus, Gratuity, and other statutory requirements.
- Maintain statutory registers, records, licenses, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate labour inspections, statutory audits, and regulatory submissions.
- Liaise with government departments and statutory authorities for approvals, renewals, and inspections.
Employee Discipline & Domestic Enquiries
- Handle disciplinary actions including warning letters, show-cause notices, charge sheets, suspensions, and terminations.
- Conduct domestic enquiries in compliance with legal procedures.
- Prepare documentation for labour litigation and legal proceedings.
Union & Contract Labour Management
- Manage union interactions and maintain healthy industrial relations.
- Monitor contractor compliance with labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Verify contractor licenses, registrations, wage compliance, and statutory remittances.
- Conduct contractor compliance audits.
Labour Litigation & Legal Coordination
- Coordinate with legal counsel on labour and employment matters.
- Prepare documentation for labour court cases and legal proceedings.
- Monitor ongoing litigation and ensure timely compliance with legal requirements.
HR Policies & Employee Welfare
- Develop and implement HR, IR, and disciplinary policies.
- Organize employee welfare initiatives, health camps, safety awareness programs, and welfare committee activities.
- Promote employee engagement and workplace harmony.
Administration
- Oversee plant and office administration including:

Compensation
CTC: ₹5 – ₹7 LPA (Based on experience and skills)
