Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare 2D drawings of 3D models for new product concepts and components.
· Work closely with design engineers during prototype development.
· Update drawings based on prototype trials and testing feedback.
· Prepare and maintain BOM (Bill of Materials) and drawing revisions.
· Support documentation for product validation and release.
· Coordinate with toolroom, production, and vendors for design feasibility.
Required Skills:
· Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks /AutoCAD).
· Strong knowledge of sheet metal design and development.
· Understanding of fabrication processes (laser cutting, bending, welding).
· Basic knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-up.
· Ability to interpret engineering designs and modify as required.
Educational Qualification:
· Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering
Preferred Skills:
· Experience in New Product Development (NPD) projects
· Exposure to prototype development and testing cycles
· Basic understanding of cost optimization and value engineering
