About the Role Coordinate and drive technical program activities across engineering, product development, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of project milestones. The role focuses on technical planning, engineering coordination, and program tracking throughout the product development lifecycle. This involves working closely with various stakeholders to ensure successful program execution. The goal is to deliver projects on time while ensuring quality and compliance with program objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and facilitate regular technical program review meetings, including agenda preparation, documentation of meeting minutes, action tracking, and follow-up on open items.
- Collaborate with BOM teams to manage part list integration, ensure BOM accuracy, and support lifecycle and configuration management activities.
- Support mule and prototype build preparation by coordinating BOM readiness, engineering inputs, technical approvals, and build documentation.
- Coordinate Color, Material, and Finish (CMF) integration activities by working closely with Styling, Engineering, Purchasing, and other stakeholders.
- Track and consolidate Design Verification (DV) and Product Validation (PV) activities, ensuring timely updates, issue resolution, and program status reporting.
- Provide technical support for product modernization initiatives, including implementation of engineering improvements, feature updates, and compliance with program objectives.
- Manage Engineering Change Notice (ECN) activities, ensuring timely evaluation, approval, implementation, and communication of engineering changes across relevant functions.
- Monitor project deliverables, technical risks, dependencies, and action items to support successful program execution.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, quality, and supply chain throughout the development lifecycle.
- Prepare technical dashboards, progress reports, and status updates for project reviews and management meetings.
Requirements
- Have 8 to 10 years of experience in a related field.
- Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Automobile Engineering / Production Engineering or related discipline.
- Have exposure to automotive standards and APQP/product development processes.
- Have experience with PLM tools such as Teamcenter, ENOVIA, or Windchill.
- Have knowledge of CMF integration and vehicle configuration management.
- Be familiar with Agile or structured project management methodologies.
Good to Have
- Experience in automotive product development and vehicle program planning.
- Exposure to product development, manufacturing, purchasing, supplier management, quality, and launch activities.
- Experience coordinating global or multi-location development programs.
- Knowledge of stage-gate project management methodologies and product development processes.
