JOB DESCRIPTION – STOCK EXECUTIVE
Position: Stock Executive
Location: Ludhiana, Punjab

Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Stock Executive to manage day-to-day inventory activities, ensure accurate stock records, and maintain proper availability of products and supplies across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily stock inward and outward entries and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Receive, check, count, and verify products/materials received from suppliers.
- Ensure all stock is properly labelled, arranged, and stored.
- Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels and identify low-stock and fast-moving items.
- Prepare and maintain stock reports, inventory statements, and consumption reports.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile it with system records.
- Identify and report stock shortages, excess stock, damages, and discrepancies.
- Monitor product expiry dates, batch numbers, and product condition wherever applicable.
- Coordinate with salon/branch managers regarding their stock requirements.
- Prepare stock requisitions and issue stock as per approved requirements.
- Maintain proper records of stock transfers between branches.
- Coordinate with the purchase/accounts team regarding purchase orders, invoices, and received quantities.
- Monitor consumption of salon products and identify unusual or excessive usage.
- Ensure proper FIFO (First In, First Out) practices wherever applicable.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper utilization of the stockroom.
- Assist in monthly and annual stock audits.
- Ensure all inventory-related documentation is updated and properly maintained.
- Support management in reducing stock wastage, pilferage, and unnecessary inventory costs.
Skills & Competencies
- Good knowledge of inventory and stock management.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic to good knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.
- Ability to maintain proper documentation and reports.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to identify stock discrepancies and resolve issues.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Honest, responsible, and reliable.
- Ability to work independently as well as coordinate with different branches/departments.
Qualification
- Minimum 12th Pass / Graduate preferred.
- Diploma or certification in Inventory Management, Supply Chain, or related field will be an advantage.
- Experience in salon, retail, beauty, FMCG, or similar inventory operations will be preferred.
Salary
Salary: 13000-16000.
