Interior Interiors, a growing interior design company in Kottayam, is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Cutting List Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate 2D drawings and cutting lists from approved 3D interior designs, optimizing material usage, and coordinating with the production team to ensure efficient and accurate manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate 2D drawings and cutting lists from approved 3D designs.
- Prepare cutting lists for modular kitchens, wardrobes, furniture, and other interior works.
- Optimize sheet layouts to minimize material wastage.
- Calculate material quantities and prepare production reports.
- Verify dimensions, measurements, and specifications before production.
- Coordinate with designers, production, procurement, and site teams.
- Maintain accurate records of cutting lists and material consumption.
- Assist in production planning and ensure timely execution.
- Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency and reduce material wastage.
- Ensure smooth coordination between the design and production teams.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Furniture Design, or a related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in cutting list preparation, furniture production, joinery, or modular furniture manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of modular furniture, interior joinery, and sheet material optimization.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel.
- Experience with CutList Plus, SketchUp, or relevant furniture/CNC optimization software will be an advantage.
- Ability to understand 3D interior designs and convert them into accurate production drawings and cutting lists.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with design and production teams.
Pay: ₹11,471.68 - ₹33,572.67 per month
