We are looking for two detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Engineers to ensure product quality, compliance with standards, and continuous improvement in manufacturing processes. The candidates will be responsible for inspection, testing, documentation, and coordination with production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of transformer components (core, winding, tank, insulation, etc.)
- Monitor critical processes like winding, core assembly, tank fabrication, and oil filling
- Ensure compliance with IS / IEC standards and customer specifications
- Conduct and witness routine tests
- Review and maintain quality documents, test reports, and inspection records
- Identify defects and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA)
- Coordinate with production, design, and vendors for quality improvements
- Handle customer inspections and third-party audits
- Ensure proper calibration and usage of measuring instruments
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
- Strong knowledge of transformer manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with IS 2026, IEC 60076 standards
- Hands-on experience in testing and inspection of power/distribution transformers
- Ability to read GA drawings, winding drawings, and schematics
- Good knowledge of measuring instruments and test equipment
