Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Pricing Executive to manage freight pricing activities across Air Freight, Ocean Freight, and Logistics services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing competitive quotations, negotiating rates with carriers and logistics partners, maintaining pricing databases, and supporting the sales team with timely and accurate commercial proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare competitive freight quotations for Air, Ocean (FCL/LCL), and multimodal shipments.
- Obtain and negotiate rates with shipping lines, airlines, NVOCCs, transporters, and overseas agents.
- Coordinate with operations and sales teams to ensure accurate costing and service feasibility.
- Analyze customer requirements and recommend cost-effective logistics solutions.
- Maintain and update carrier tariffs, buying rates, and pricing records.
- Monitor market freight trends, carrier surcharges, and capacity changes.
- Ensure quotations are submitted within agreed turnaround times.
- Follow up on quotations with the sales team and provide pricing support during negotiations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers, vendors, and overseas partners.
- Prepare profitability analysis and margin calculations before quote submission.
- Support RFQs, tenders, and key account pricing exercises.
- Ensure compliance with company pricing policies and commercial guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in freight forwarding pricing or commercial operations.
- Experience in Air Freight and Ocean Freight pricing is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of international freight forwarding and logistics.
- Understanding of Incoterms, shipping documentation, and international trade.
- Experience with FCL, LCL, Air Freight, and multimodal transportation.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Strong analytical and cost-calculation abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
- Experience with freight forwarding ERP/CRM systems is an advantage.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple quotations simultaneously.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
