Role Description The Junior Video Editor will be responsible for editing and assembling video content that showcases Homedot’s services, products, and brand stories. Day-to-day tasks include cutting and arranging footage, adding transitions and basic motion graphics, applying color adjustments, and preparing videos for multiple digital platforms. Additional responsibilities may involve organizing media files, assisting with simple video production tasks, and ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ernakulam.
Qualifications
- Strong foundational skills in Video Editing and Video Production for creating short-form and long-form content.
- Ability to perform Video Color Grading to enhance visual quality and maintain a consistent look and feel.
- Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to create simple animations, titles, and visual elements.
- Proficiency with common video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic graphic tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Good sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and audio-visual synchronization.
- Attention to detail, ability to follow brand guidelines, and openness to feedback and revision.
- Ability to work on-site in Ernakulam, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Relevant coursework, certification, or a diploma in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous video work is strongly beneficial.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹14,000.00 per month
