Job Summary
Recrutifi is hiring a qualified and detail-oriented MD Biochemist for a reputed diagnostic laboratory in Ahmedabad. The selected candidate will be responsible for clinical diagnostics, laboratory management, and maintaining high standards of quality in biochemical testing.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Diagnostics
- Perform and interpret biochemical tests for metabolic, genetic, renal, liver, and endocrine conditions
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of results
Laboratory Management
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments (automated & manual)
- Ensure smooth day-to-day lab operations
Quality Control (QC)
- Monitor QC procedures and implement quality assurance standards
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines
Clinical Consultation
- Advise clinicians on appropriate test selection and interpretation
- Collaborate with medical teams for effective patient care
Method Development
- Develop and optimize diagnostic methodologies
- Improve analytical techniques for efficiency
Reporting & Validation
- Validate abnormal findings
- Document and communicate results clearly to clinicians
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
- MBBS with MD in Biochemistry (Mandatory)
- Valid and relevant licensing
Expertise
- Strong understanding of metabolic pathways and disease processes
- Experience with analytical techniques like spectrophotometry and chromatography
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Leadership skills (preferred for experienced candidates)
Salary & Benefits
Compensation
- Fresher: ₹1,00,000 per month
- Experienced: ₹1,50,000 – ₹1,80,000 per month (based on experience)
