Supervise daily welding production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targetsAllocate jobs to welders based on skill level, WPS, and production prioritiesMonitor weld quality and ensure compliance with standards (customer specs)Conduct visual inspections and coordinate PT as requiredIdentify welding defects and implement corrective and preventive actionsEnforce welding safety practices, PPE usage, and safe handling of gas cylinders and equipmentMaintain welding machines, consumables, and tools in safe working conditionPlan and monitor production schedules to avoid delays and reworkControl welding consumables (electrodes, wire, gas) and minimize wastageCoordinate with planning, QC, maintenance, and stores departmentsPrepare daily production and rejection reportsSuggest process improvements, jigs, fixtures, and automation opportunitiesImprove welding productivity, cycle time, and cost efficiencyEnsure compliance with ISO / IATF standards and company policies.
