We are looking for an experienced Senior WordPress Developer with strong expertise in WordPress, PHP, custom theme and plugin development. The candidate should be capable of handling complex projects independently, troubleshooting technical issues, optimizing website performance, and collaborating with designers, developers, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites.
- Build and modify custom WordPress themes and plugins.
- Convert Figma/UI designs into responsive WordPress websites.
- Develop custom functionality using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Work with Elementor and other WordPress page builders.
- Integrate REST APIs, third-party services, and payment gateways.
- Manage WordPress updates, migrations, backups, and deployments.
- Identify and resolve bugs, security issues, and performance problems.
- Optimize websites for speed, scalability, SEO, and responsiveness.
- Work with MySQL databases and troubleshoot database-related issues.
- Use Git for version control and maintain clean, reusable code.
- Review code and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
- Coordinate with QA, UI/UX designers, and project teams to ensure timely delivery.
Required Skills
- 3-5 years of professional WordPress development experience.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress Core, Hooks, Actions, Filters, and Template Hierarchy.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience in custom theme and plugin development.
- Good knowledge of Elementor and responsive web development.
- Experience with Custom Post Types, Custom Fields, and ACF.
- Strong understanding of MySQL and WordPress database structure.
- Experience with REST API and third-party API integrations.
- Knowledge of website security, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Good understanding of Git/GitHub and deployment workflows.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
