Job Summary
Carevel Medical Systems Private Limited is seeking an experienced Purchase Head to manage procurement operations for medical equipment manufacturing. The candidate will be responsible for vendor development, supplier negotiations, purchase order management, material planning, bill verification, and procurement reporting to ensure smooth production and cost-effective purchasing.
Key Responsibilities
Purchase & Procurement
Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) through ERP/Tally software.
Procure raw materials, components, consumables, and packaging materials as per production requirements.
Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production delays.
Coordinate with Production and Store Departments regarding material requirements.
Vendor Development & Negotiation
Identify, develop, and evaluate new vendors.
Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Ensure procurement at the best quality and competitive rates.
Material & Inventory Management
Maintain records of incoming materials and purchase data.
Track stock levels and material consumption.
Coordinate inward and outward material movements with the Store Department.
Ensure proper documentation and record maintenance.
Bill Verification & Documentation
Verify supplier bills and invoices with purchase orders and received quantities.
Check material specifications, quantities, and rates before approval.
Maintain purchase records, quotations, vendor files, and procurement documents.
Reporting & MIS
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly procurement reports.
Maintain procurement MIS and cost analysis reports.
Submit procurement status updates to management.
Monitor pending orders and supplier performance.
