A Managing Director's (MD) Secretary acts as the vital bridge between top-level management, internal departments, and external clients. Responsibilities include managing the MD's calendar, screening communications, organizing meetings and travel, and handling confidential documents to ensure smooth daily business operations.
** They act as a gatekeeper and enabler, streamlining communication between the MD,
staff, and external partners.
Responsibilities :
- Calendar & Meeting Management: Proactively manages the MD’s diary, schedules appointments, and prepares agenda papers for meetings.
- Communication & Correspondence: Screens calls, directs inquiries, and handles emails/correspondence with discretion.
- Travel & Logistics: Organizes complex international/domestic travel, including visa, hotel, and itinerary management.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepares reports, presentations, and takes minutes (MOMs) during meetings.
- Administrative Support: Maintains files, records, and databases. Assists with expense processing and office systems.
- Liaison: Acts as a bridge between the MD and senior leadership/internal teams. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as an executive secretary or personal assistant.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organization: Strong time-management and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Confidentiality: High level of discretion and integrity.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite and office administration
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
