We are looking for a qualified and experienced Electrical Engineer to manage and supervise electrical works at project sites. The candidate will be responsible for site execution, coordination, quality control, safety, and timely completion of electrical installations as per approved drawings and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day electrical installation activities at the project site.
- Execute electrical works as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, SLDs, layouts, and technical documents.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, clients, subcontractors, and other MEP teams.
- Monitor manpower, materials, tools, and equipment required for electrical works.
- Inspect installations and ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
- Coordinate cable laying, cable termination, DB installation, lighting, power distribution, earthing, and other electrical works.
- Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Prepare daily progress reports, material requirements, and site documentation.
- Identify technical issues at site and provide suitable engineering solutions.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures and statutory requirements.
- Monitor work progress and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
- Check measurements and assist in preparation of work bills and quantity requirements.
- Attend site meetings and coordinate with clients and consultants when required.
Required Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- 2–8 years of experience in electrical project execution.
- Good knowledge of electrical installation and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of electrical drawings, SLDs, BOQs, and specifications.
- Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of testing and commissioning procedures.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in commercial, industrial, residential, or MEP projects.
- Knowledge of HT/LT systems, DG, transformers, panels, cable trays, earthing, and lighting systems.
- Experience in coordination with HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, and other MEP services.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and statutory requirements.
