Purpose of the Role
We are seeking experienced professionals to drive sales growth, business expansion, and strategic partnerships in India’s electronics manufacturing ecosystem. The role requires deep knowledge of Surface Mount Technology (SMT), technical sales expertise, and extensive travel across India.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales of SMT equipment and automation solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop long-term customer relationships.
- Analyze emerging trends for market expansion strategies.
- Engage with OEMs, EMS providers, and manufacturing units.
- Collaborate with technical teams for solution-based selling.
- Coordinate with global technology partners on pricing, product roadmaps, and marketing.
- Travel extensively (60–70%) for client visits, demos, trade shows, and installations.
Technical Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of SMT processes & equipment (Pick & Place, Reflow Ovens, Screen Printers, AOI, SPI, Conveyors).
- Proven experience in capital equipment or turnkey SMT solution sales.
- Familiarity with PCB assembly, soldering techniques, and line balancing.
- Knowledge of factory automation, robotics, and Industry 4.0 integration.
- Understanding of material management, ESD compliance, and consultative selling.
- Experience in vendor coordination, pricing, and technical documentation.

Qualifications & Experience
- Education: B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (MBA preferred).
- Experience:
- Manager – 8–10 years in SMT/electronics/capital equipment sales
- Sr. Manager – 10–12 years
- Deputy GM – 12–15 years
