We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and highly qualified High School Social Science Teacher (TGT) to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching History, Civics, Geography, and Economics to students in Classes IX and X, strictly following the CBSE curriculum guidelines. Your core mission will be to foster analytical thinking, simplify complex socio-political concepts, and thoroughly prepare students for their board examinations.Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the CBSE syllabus for high school classes.
- Conceptual Clarity: Use creative learning techniques and audio-visual aids to make historical events, geographical maps, and economic theories accessible to students.
- Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct timely assessments, correct board-pattern assignments, and provide constructive feedback to improve academic outcomes.
- Exam Preparation: Design and implement rigorous practice sessions, sample paper solutions, and board exam strategies for Grades IX and X.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a disciplined, safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, staff development programmes, and cross-department activities.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in History, Geography, Political Science, or Economics (B.A. / M.A.) from a recognized university.
- Professional Degree: Mandatorily requires a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).
- Experience: Minimum 2 to 5 years of verified experience teaching High School (Grades 9–10) in a reputed CBSE school.
- Languages: Complete fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory. Proficiency in Tamil or Hindi is a distinct advantage.
Essential Skills
- In-depth subject matter knowledge of the high school CBSE social science syllabus.
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in handling digital classrooms, smartboards, and online grading portals.
- Strong classroom management and patience with high school student demographics.
Job Details & Benefits

- Salary: ₹25,000.00 – ₹30,000.00 per month (Negotiable based on experience and academic track record).
