The Global Delivery Network (GDN) Finance team supports Deloitte’s ability to serve clients globally by enabling greater transparency, comparability, and insight into delivery center costs, financial performance, and operational KPIs. The team plays an important role in supporting global profitability and operational efficiency by helping Deloitte leaders understand the economics of delivery center usage, cost rate cards, and workforce cost drivers across geographies.
As part of Deloitte’s Finance group, this role will provide exposure to global delivery strategy, cost accounting, benchmarking, financial modelling, and executive reporting. Join us as a Specialist and play a key role in strengthening financial transparency, supporting annual Cost Accounting Principles (CAP) assessments / Location Strategy Optimization (LSO) and enabling decision-useful insights for GDN, DTTL, member firm, and global business leadership.
- GDN Financial Reporting, Cost Transparency and Analysis
o Prepare, review, and analyze delivery center/strategic location cost data, rate cards, and key performance indicators to ensure accuracy, comparability, and transparency across the network.
o Support and maintain annual CAP assessments by reviewing delivery center cost build-ups, transfer pricing assumptions, overhead allocations, service fee treatment, and rate card calculations.
o Develop financial models and variance analyses that compare delivery center/strategic location costs across geographies, business units, career levels, and operating models.
o Create executive-level reports in PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI that translate detailed financial analysis into clear insights, recommendations, and actionable storylines.
o Support GDN and DTTL People & Operations team benchmarking and cost transparency initiatives by validating data quality, reconciling inputs, documenting assumptions, and identifying key cost drivers.
o Partner with GDN leaders, delivery center finance contacts, and global stakeholders to support strategic initiatives related to delivery center economics, adoption, profitability, and governance.
o Demonstrate flexibility by managing multiple leadership-driven requests, recurring reporting cycles, and ad hoc analyses with accuracy and timeliness.
o Support coaching and knowledge sharing for analysts by helping document processes, review work products, and reinforce consistent analytical standards.
o Provide exceptional client service by engaging DTTL professionals, member firm finance teams, delivery center contacts, and GDN stakeholders in a professional, positive, and quality-focused manner.
o Demonstrate the capability and enthusiasm to serve as a trusted business adviser by offering insight into key drivers, rate cards, adoption rates, and cost efficiency considerations.
o Effectively manage stakeholder expectations by prompt response, clear communication, and proactive approach creating tangible impact and valuable insights.
o Exhibit strong proficiency in both spoken and written English, with the ability to simplify complex financial information for executive audiences.
The GDN Finance team supports Deloitte’s Global Delivery Network by providing finance-led analysis, reporting, governance support, and cost transparency across delivery centers. The team helps leadership understand the economics of delivery center usage, rate cards, cost build-ups, and GDN KPIs, enabling consistent and comparable insights across geographies and operating models. The role includes creating executive-ready deliverables, supporting strategic projects, and responding to leadership ad hoc requests with a high degree of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
o 4–6 years of FP&A, accounting, finance reporting, cost accounting, or financial analysis experience—ideally in a multinational or global organization.
o Master’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related discipline (e.g., MBA, CMA, CA Inter, CPA, or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
o Experience with cost center economics, rate cards, transfer pricing, workforce costing, or shared services financial reporting is preferred.
o Possesses advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, financial modelling, reconciliations, and process automation; demonstrates proficiency in PowerPoint and MS Word, with good understanding of Power BI or similar data visualization tools preferred.
o Communicates clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to engage effectively with GDN leadership, member firm finance contacts, delivery center finance teams, and all levels of firm management.
o Demonstrates a strong understanding of financial accounting, management reporting, cost allocation principles, transfer pricing concepts, and key financial and operational KPIs relevant to professional services and delivery center environments.
o Exhibits exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical judgment, and a high level of accuracy and punctuality when working with complex data sets and leadership-facing deliverables.
