Role Overview
At Cityflo, Finance is more than just numbers—it's about enabling smarter business decisions and supporting our growth journey. As a Senior Associate – Finance & Accounts, you'll play a key role in managing financial operations, ensuring statutory compliance, driving accurate reporting, and strengthening financial controls. What You'll DoFinancial Accounting & Reporting
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate books of accounts.
- Lead the monthly financial close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and provisions.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, business metrics, and other financial schedules.
- Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with Schedule III of the Companies Act.
Taxation & Compliance
- Ensure timely preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.).
- Prepare monthly TDS workings, process payments, and manage quarterly TDS filings.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, statutory regulations, and internal financial controls.
- Support Internal Audit, Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, and other compliance-related activities.
Receivables, Payables & Treasury
- Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable with a strong focus on ageing analysis and timely follow-ups.
- Ensure vendor payments are processed as per agreed timelines.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and banking transactions.
Business Partnering & Process Excellence
- Collaborate with departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and effective budgetary control.
- Prepare Proforma Invoices, Tax Invoices (including E-Invoicing), Purchase Orders, and other statutory documentation.
- Manage Bank Reconciliations (BRS) and other routine accounting activities.
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, improve controls, and implement efficient, technology-driven solutions.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Strong working knowledge of Tally or similar ERP/accounting software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
- Thorough understanding of Accounting Standards, GST, TDS, Companies Act, and statutory compliance.
- Experience independently managing the monthly financial close process.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and meeting deadlines.
- Experience in process improvement and implementing efficient financial workflows.
