The Team Lead – Last Mile Operations is responsible for managing daily delivery center (DC) operations and ensuring smooth last-mile delivery execution. The role involves handling delivery associates/riders, monitoring shipment movement, ensuring SLA/TAT adherence, and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
This is a field-heavy operations role requiring strong people management, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Management
- Supervise end-to-end last mile delivery operations
- Ensure timely dispatch and successful deliveries
- Monitor inbound/outbound shipments and reverse logistics
- Handle route planning and load optimization
- Maintain delivery SLAs, TAT, and productivity targets
- Coordinate with warehouse, dispatch, and line-haul teams
Team Handling
- Manage delivery executives/riders/field staff
- Prepare duty rosters and assign delivery routes
- Monitor attendance, discipline, and productivity
- Train new delivery associates on SOPs and safety standards
- Resolve on-ground operational issues and escalations
Performance Monitoring
- Track KPIs such as:
- Delivery success rate
- TAT (Turnaround Time)
- Rider productivity
- Shipment aging
- Customer complaints
- Generate daily operational reports using Excel/tools
- Implement corrective actions to improve efficiency
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
