Our client is a leading publicly listed manufacturing company in the specialty chemicals sector with a strong global presence and multiple group entities/subsidiaries.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Chartered Accountant to join the Accounts & Finance team. The primary focus of this role will be consolidation of financial statements across multiple entities, along with financial reporting, finalization of accounts, and preparation of management reports.
This position offers excellent exposure to group-level financial reporting within a listed organization.
Key Responsibilities
Consolidation & Financial Reporting (Core Responsibility)
* Preparation and consolidation of financial statements for multiple group entities/subsidiaries.
* Inter-company reconciliation and elimination entries.
* Preparation and review of Consolidated Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, Cash Flow Statement, and supporting schedules.
* Coordination with various entities for timely and accurate financial reporting.
Accounts Finalization & Book Closure
* Monthly, quarterly, and annual closure of books of accounts.
* Preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
* Review of provisions, accruals, reconciliations, and journal entries.
* Ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Budgeting, MIS & Analysis
* Preparation of budgets, forecasts, and management reports.
* Cash flow reporting and financial analysis.
* Variance analysis and support for management decision-making.
Audit & Compliance
* Coordination with statutory and internal auditors.
* Preparation of schedules, reports, and supporting documentation for audits.
* Support in ensuring compliance with applicable accounting and reporting requirements.
Desired Skills
* Hands-on experience in consolidation of financial statements.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
* Experience in finalization of accounts and financial statement preparation.
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Power Query, reporting, and data analysis).
* Strong analytical and communication skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
Preferred Background
* Experience in manufacturing, chemicals, or process industry will be an advantage.
* Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms will be preferred.
Mandatory Requirement
Practical exposure to consolidation of financial statements for multiple entities/subsidiaries is essential for this role and will be a key selection criterion.
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
