Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Plumbing Engineer to design, supervise, and manage plumbing systems for residential, commercial, and industrial construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for water supply, drainage, sewage, stormwater, and firefighting piping systems while ensuring compliance with applicable codes, safety standards, and project requirements. .
Roles & Responsibilities – Plumbing Engineer
- Design and review plumbing layouts, water supply systems, drainage systems, sewage networks, and stormwater systems.
- Prepare plumbing drawings, specifications, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and material estimates.
- Supervise plumbing installation activities at construction sites and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and standards.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP teams, contractors, and consultants for smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress and ensure plumbing works are completed within the scheduled timeline.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
- Verify plumbing materials, fixtures, and equipment before installation.
- Manage testing and commissioning of plumbing systems, including hydrostatic and pressure testing.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and company quality standards.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and maintain project documentation.
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to plumbing systems during construction.
- Review contractor bills and certify work completion as per project requirements.
- Monitor manpower productivity and ensure proper utilization of resources.
- Ensure adherence to workplace safety procedures and promote a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in plumbing execution for residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
- Knowledge of plumbing design standards, piping systems, pumps, and water treatment systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Strong problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
