About the Role The Finance Manager will lead the finance and accounts team, driving process improvements, automation initiatives, and operational efficiency. This role ensures compliance with statutory requirements, manages end-to-end accounting operations, and provides financial insights to support strategic business decisions. Success in this role will be measured by the ability to maintain strong internal controls, improve liquidity, and reduce financial risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounting operations and financial closures.
- Review journal entries, accruals, provisions, and reconciliations.
- Finalize financial statements and maintain strong internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, PT, and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate statutory, tax, and internal audits.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, receivables, and collections.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and manage banking relationships.
- Drive initiatives to improve liquidity and reduce financial risk.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports and management dashboards.
- Analyze revenue, profitability, margins, and overall financial performance.
- Support annual budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Evaluate project profitability, resource utilization, and cost optimization opportunities.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions.
- Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team.
Requirements
- Manage financial accounting and reporting.
- Finalize financial statements.
- Ensure GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Manage audits.
- Manage cash flow and working capital.
- Prepare MIS reports and financial analysis.
- Budget and forecast.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, Power Query).
- Demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills.
- Have experience in IT Services or Technology companies.
- Have 8-12 years of finance and accounting experience.
- Have a strong accounting background with exposure to MIS reporting and business finance.
Good to Have
- Experience with Power BI and dashboard reporting.
- Familiarity with ERP Systems: SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Zoho, Tally, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
- Multi-currency accounting exposure.
- Revenue recognition and project-based financial management experience.
