Role Overview We are seeking a Diploma-qualified Electrical professional with 8 years of hands-on experience in plant maintenance. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted electrical operations, troubleshooting breakdowns, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Prior exposure to the refractory industry will be considered an added advantage. This role requires rotational shift duty to support 24x7 plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of plant electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults to minimize downtime.
- Work in rotational shifts ensuring smooth plant operations.
- Adhere to electrical safety standards, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, breakdown analysis, and spare parts usage.
- Suggest and implement improvements for efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in plant electrical maintenance.
- Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLCs, motors, transformers, and switchgear.
- Experience in refractory industry will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and compliance standards.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
