This role is responsible for ensuring that all proposals meet the highest engineering standards by meticulously reviewing and validating the technical aspects. The Engineering Expert will collaborate closely with proposal coordinators and other stakeholders to create material masters for complex proposals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Collaborate with proposal coordinators and other team members to ensure that all engineering components of proposals are accurate, technically sound, and align with both customer requirements and organizational standards.
- Review and validate the engineering components of proposals to ensure compliance with technical standards and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with proposal coordinators to integrate engineering insights into proposal development, enhancing the technical quality of submissions.
- Create and manage material masters in SAP for complex proposals, ensuring accurate representation of technical specifications.
- Liaise with engineering teams to gather and incorporate essential technical data and insights into proposals.
- Identify opportunities to improve the engineering review process, enhancing efficiency and the overall quality of proposals.
- Maintain open lines of communication with proposal coordinators and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and address technical queries.
- Support the development of technical documentation and resources to aid in proposal creation and review.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in engineering roles, ideally within a mechanical or electrical machinery industry.
- Demonstrated expertise in hydro turbines equipment, with a proven ability to solve complex technical issues.
- Strong understanding of proposal development processes and technical documentation.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft office suite. Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex technical data accurately.
- Strong communication skills, capable of conveying technical information clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Business proficiency in English (spoken / written). Knowledge of additional languages like German, Spanish, and Portuguese is a plus.

They must be fully computer literate, particularly in SAP and the MS Office Suite. The Engineering Expert should be open to occasional travel to support meetings and project site visits, ensuring the delivery of exceptional engineering support.
